When you buy something through certain links on Hamster Corner, the retailer pays me a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price either way. Those commissions are what keep the guides free to read and the site running without ads plastered everywhere.
# Which programs
Hamster Corner participates in affiliate programs including Amazon Associates and other pet supply retailers. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
# What commissions don't buy
A link earning commission has no say in the verdict. Products get recommended because I bought them, used them with my own hamsters, and would buy them again. When something isn't worth it, the review says so even if there's an affiliate link sitting right next to that sentence. Brands cannot pay for placement, better scores or softer criticism, and I don't accept sponsored posts.
# How to spot them
Most product buttons and "check price" links in the reviews section are affiliate links. If you'd rather not use them, you can always search for the product directly. The recommendation stands either way.
